The debut album by inFictions on CD, presented in a unique, lo-fi cardboard surround containing the CD in its own sleeve, a badge and an artwork booklet.
10 unique pieces of art were created by 10 different artists for this album, one for each track with the exception of '2nd Intersection', which is a kind of interlude/segue track.
Erases everything,
Even the stroke of the pen, of the sword.
Confuses everyone
Enough to prevent a descent now adjourned.
Makes room for constellations as
Satellites start to fall from the sky.
Makes time for making time
And turns back the clocks and their scratches and lines.
You know,
As satellites start to fall from the sky,
It grows,
Consuming the ground and just leaving a line.
Everyone waits on the brighter of the sides.
Reversed a deicide.
Banishment comes at the strangest of hours.
Corrected everything,
But the ivory towers are the banishing towers.
You know,
As satellites start to fall from the sky,
It grows,
Consuming the ground and just leaving a line.
Everyone waits on the brighter of the sides.
Takes a lot to know,
to find a home
for these ideas….
You know,
As satellites start to fall from the sky,
It grows,
Consuming the ground and just leaving a line.
Everyone waits on the brighter of the sides.
Takes a lot to know,
to find a home
for these ideas.
Just as some of us begin
To find a home,
These big ideas…
Are gone.

Ed's other main songwriting project is a 6 (ish)-piece acoustic collective. You can definitely hear the same songwriter behind inFictions but the music is, overall, lighter in tone and closer to folk. inFictions
Every time I think I’ve uncovered all the hidden gems I find another one, this is fine music. This band has two other more recent releases not available on Bandcamp, also amazing. Kind of a mix of genres with the post rock backbone I enjoy so much, very talented! Deej
