A very good thought-provoking album that is an ear-pleasing hybrid of several genres (prog-rock, acid folk, early psych rock, and more). I hear similarities to Steven Wilson, the Beatles, Stuart Gray, & the Pineapple Thief. The sum of its observations make for an interesting listen. John’s musical ideas are expressed in a pleasantly uncluttered way & the lyrics are down to Earth & meaningful. Picking a fave is hard, as a number vie for the honour. Thanks, John! More, please! 8+/10.
